Warranty Protection
Registered Limited Warranty terms are available if the product is registered within 60 days of installation. Registration can be completed online or by phone. If the product is not registered within 60 days of installation, Trane’s Base Limited Warranty terms will apply. For complete, detailed information on your specific product’s warranty coverage, visit the product page, or contact your independent Trane dealer.
Discuss with your dealer what the Manufacturer's Limited Warranty covers for the model(s) you've selected and if upgrading it with an Optional Extended Warranty is right for you. Ask your dealer for full warranty information at time of purchase. Product registration is for residential applications. Some exclusions may apply.

For owners looking for a little extra security, Trane offers Optional Extended Warranties to give you years of protection long after your system has been installed. If you didn’t purchase an optional extended warranty when you bought your system, it’s not too late. Extended warranties can still be purchased for units or systems less than 5 years old.
Extended Warranty Coverage includes:
- 5- or 10-year options on parts only, or parts and labor
- Full transferability if property is sold*
- Built-in product replacement advantage
REMEMBER: Routine maintenance is required as recommended in the owner's guide to ensure proper performance of the equipment. Repairs that are required due to lack of routine maintenance are not covered by the Trane Extended Warranty Agreement. If you currently have an optional extended warranty and require service, call the dealer listed on your agreement and he’ll take care of you.

Include the Warranty.
Your reliable Trane system may help you sell your home, with the purchase of a Registered Limited Warranty Transfer Option**. During the Registered Limited Warranty period you have the opportunity to purchase this transferability option, which allows your Registered Limited Warranty to be transferred to a subsequent homeowner. Purchase either during the 60-day Product Registration Period or within the Registered Limited Warranty period, up to ninety (90) days following the sale.

**The Registered Limited Warranty transferability option is available for a $59 fee during the initial 60 day Product Registration period. If purchased outside of the Product Registration Period, a $99 fee will apply; however, this option is available up to ninety (90) days following the sale of your home. Transferability restrictions may vary by state.
